Deriving its origin from the finest hand-spun Afghan wool, The Ghazni Khorjin Collection gives traditional designs a contemporary twist through colour and format. This collection captures the essence of contemporary styling using traditional design with soft modern colours.

Hand knotted in Northern Afghanistan by skilled Afghan weavers. The pile is hand spun wool with a traditional low-pile finishing, and the dyes used are natural. The handspun Ghazni wool used in these pieces combined with the dyeing process gives the carpets a wonderful natural glow. The designs are inspired by saddle bags or “khorjins” from nomadic tribes in Afghanistan and Balochistan. A very well knotted rug, woven on a strong cotton warp and weft.

Vacuuming regularly is just one step in preserving the look and feel of your rug. Avoid the temptation to pull any loose threads! Instead, carefully trim them with a good pair of scissors. Be sure to treat any spills with a clean, white cloth. Another important step preventing uneven wear and discoloration is to rotate the rug every few months. This is a great way to prevent distortion from foot traffic and sun rays. Having your rugs cleaned professionally will ensure that all harmful bacteria and other harmful particles are eradicated.
